Cusco - Pisaq - Pisaq Market
We will meet you at your hotel at 8:30 am then begin a 40 minute drive to Pisac in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will spend an hour or so exploring the archeological site of Pisaq. After the ruins we come down to the famous market in the town of Pisaq. You will have approximately 40 minutes to visit the market. We recommend bringing along money to purchase unique, handmade souvenirs and gifts.

Buffet Lunch in Urubamba
After Pisac we will begin a journey along the river and through the Sacred Valley of the Incas until we reach Urubamba. In this quiet riverside pueblo we will stop for a delicious buffet lunch. Have a taste of the Peruvian cuisine!

Ollantaytambo
After lunch the journey continues along the valley to Ollantaytambo. Founded by the Inca Ollanta on the banks of the Urubamba River, Ollantaytambo is a fort built into the mountain with Andean terraces set above a traditional town. At the top of the ruins sits the Sun Temple, constructed of large blocks that have remained intact for centuries enduring the effects of time and weather.

Chinchero - Cusco
Leaving Ollantaytambo we will return via Urubamba and then head up and out of the valley to the highlands above where you will make a final stop in the town of Chinchero. Chinchero is famous for its church with painted murals and its traditional market which is famous for their handmade textiles and weavings. After visiting the church and market you will return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 7 pm.
